Collection of your Personal Information

Orion ShopMate^TM is used as a stand-alone application or synchronized with a driver transportation application approved by the United Stated Department of Transportation (USDoT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to ensure that commercial truck drivers are executing their manifest in compliance with shipping requirements. Orion ShopMate^TM collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. Orion ShopMate^TM also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites. There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by Orion Vehicle Intelligence System (Orion VIS). This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by Orion ShopMate^TM for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Orion ShopMate^TM Web site. Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through Orion ShopMate^TM public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others. Note: Orion ShopMate^TM does not read any of your private online communications. Orion ShopMate^TM encourages you to review the privacy statements of Web sites you choose to link to from Orion ShopMate^TM so that you can understand how those Web sites collect, use and share your information. Other Information That We Collect Only through the Orion ShopMate^TM app and not from your mobile device.

• Driver Vehicle Logs: this information includes knowing information regarding certain vehicles you driver to include vehicle make, model, type, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), odometer, license plate, and state registration number.
• Documents: : we record your odometer mileage and engine diagnostic data to understand what maintenance, if any, may be required to keep your vehicle in operating condition required by state and federal laws.
• Pictures: pictures of your vehicle exterior and interior are recorded. Any personal pictures you may take are not recorded.
• Text Messages: inbound and outbound messages are recorded
• Your Profile: this is optional information you input that enables shop and maintenance personnel to contact you

Use of your Personal Information

Orion ShopMate^TM collects and uses your personal information to operate the Orion ShopMate^TM Web site and deliver the services you have requested. Orion ShopMate^TM also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Orion ShopMate^TM and its affiliates. Orion ShopMate^TM may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered. Orion ShopMate^TM does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. Orion ShopMate^TM may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. Orion ShopMate^TM keeps track of the Web sites and pages our customers visit within Orion Vehicle Intelligence System (Orion VIS), in order to determine what Orion ShopMate^TM services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within Orion ShopMate^TM to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area. • Vehicle Fleet Operators: To the extent you are employed by a Fleet Operator in conjunction with the operations of their business, we may share your personal information.
• Third Parties: we, your, or your Fleet Operator may use third parties for a variety of additional services that require knowledge of your personal information, tracking, and reporting functions. This may include, but is not limited to, other vehicle operators, freight managers, dispatchers, receivers, shippers, lumpers, cartage agents, and others with a vested interest in your operations.
• Law Enforcement Agents and Agencies: Your information is subject to review by authorized law enforcement agents and their agencies to validate that you, your travel routes, current location, and other information is compliant with state and federal laws.

Use of Cookies

The Orion ShopMate^TM Web site use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server.
